Testimonials

Managers/Directors:

An extremely well developed and informative workshop on Compassion Fatigue that staff could apply to their workplace or their personal lives. Jane is a delightful presenter and very knowledgeable. Our staff walked away feeling refreshed, and remarked that the material presented will assist them in their day-to-day challenges.

Elena Carmichael
Operations Assistant (Acting)
Human Resources
Ministry of Community and Social Services

My staff came away with an understanding of Compassion Fatigue, how to recognize the symptoms within oneself, how to prevent or manage Compassion Fatigue, what they can do for themselves. Jane's background and knowledge was clearly recognized by the participants. I would recommend this to all Caregivers in the healthcare field.

I am very happy I chose this session. PTSD is something I am dealing with on an almost daily basis. So as you can imagine, the information you have given me will be very helpful. I now see that it may be an even bigger problem than I thought it was. I think you have got a great grasp on the subject.

Richard Perry,
Legal Director,

An excellent wake up call to continually maintain appropriate boundaries and to protect my own mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. I know I'm not superman, but sometimes I forget. Thank you.

Bob Vetteri,

Jangles Productions has contracted Jane Bradley on a number of occasions to provide a presentation on "Compassion Fatigue" to conference delegates working in the settlement field. Most recently she presented in Saskatoon to all provincial settlement workers. The conference delegates work as counsellors assisting newcomers in the process of establishing themselves in Canada. As such they benefit greatly from "self-care" presentations particularly "Compassion Fatigue" or "Secondary Trauma". The delegates have indicated a very positive response in their evaluation forms after attending Jane's presentation with over 95% indicating a "very good" to "excellent" rating. We would certainly recommend Jane Bradley to anyone interested in incorporating a session on "Compassion Fatigue" either in a training session or conference.

The concepts you brought to us are very helpful. They raise awareness and make me vigilant about what and how I'm delivering my services and how to take care of myself.

I'm the daughter of a stroke survivor and I found the workshop very insightful. I never made the connection between PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and stroke. Stroke is definitely a "trauma". This workshop has given me a much better understanding of the process that my mother and father have gone through.

This is an excellent presentation. A lot of the information I was aware of, but the format made it very logical and put it in perspective, and best of all, you have solutions.
